About KEAN
KEAN is a professional forum for engineering graduates of Kerala origin who now work in the Northeastern United States. The organization helps engineers advance in their fields of specialization. Founded in 2008, KEAN serves as a central point of connection for engineers who support one another and provide professional services in the United States and India.
What we do for the community
- Recognize the outstanding achievements of engineers of Kerala origin in India and the Northeastern United States.
- Support engineers in achieving their professional aspirations and advancing their careers.
- Recognize outstanding teachers from engineering colleges in Kerala and elsewhere in India.
- Provide scholarships to engineering students in the US and India.
- Participate in environmental-protection initiatives in Kerala, India.
What we do for engineering institutions
- Provide exemplary professional services.
- Support academic planning and organizational initiatives that advance engineering education.
- Run EEES—Experience Exposure with Engineering Students—in both the United States and India.
KEAN is a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status; donations are 100% tax-deductible.
